Sydney Sixers are set to host the Brisbane Heat side on Sunday for another epic encounter in the Big Bash League 2018-19. Both the teams need to win desperately if they want to stay alive in the tournament. Sixers lost their last match against Melbourne Renegades by seven wickets at the SCG. Brisbane Heat has also struggled this season to gain any kind of form and was saved by the floodlights in their last game against Sydney Thunder.

Sydney Sixers are currently placed at the fifth position in the points table with eight points. They have won four and lost five matches out of their nine league outings. Sixers would be eyeing to get back on winning ways in the upcoming match. Tom Curran has been impressive with all-round performance and would need some assistance from his teammates too. Sydney’s skipper Moises Henriques have to step-up in this crunch contest.

Brisbane Heat has also had a mixed tournament so far and have struggled to maintain any form or rhythm. In one match they look undisputable but in the next match, they look vulnerable which is really frustrating. Their last game against the Sydney Thunder was abandoned due to floodlight failure. Brisbane’s batting lineup is too dependent on the top three. Max Bryant, Brendon McCullum and Chris Lynn have scored the majority of runs for the Heat. When these batsmen don’t fire then they find themselves in trouble.
