The Indian U-19 team is set to host the Proteas for the second test match at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. The hosts must be beaming with confidence after their 9-wicket win over the South African U-19 team. Both the sides will collide once again in the second youth test which is set to begin from tomorrow at 09:30 AM IST. Team India will be looking to clean sweep the visitors in the upcoming match.

The home side put on a dominant display to register a thumping 9-wicket win in the first test. Indian bowlers were excellent in both the innings and made sure the visitors were bundled out for 197 & 167 runs in their respective innings. Hrithik Shokeen bowled beautifully in the entire match to dismiss 7 South African batsmen. While Divyansh Saxena scored an exceptional century in the first innings to give his side a lead of 133 runs in the second innings. The hosts would be determined to seal the series in the second match by 2-0.

On the other hand, South Africa suffered a massive blow by the hands of the Indian team in the first test. They would be hoping to land a counter punch in this must-win game for the Proteas. Having won the toss, they elected to bat first, but soon this decision backfired as the visitors found themselves bundled out for just 197 runs on the board. Their batting needs to step-up in this crunch game if they want to level this series.
