After taming the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings are set to host their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians at the Chepauk Stadium for another mouth-watering tie. The hosts must be ecstatic from their previous victory while the Blue Army will look to bounce back to winning ways in this fixture. Both the sides will battle it out for the second time in this season. Mumbai Indians hammered the defending champions by 37 runs last time they met at Wankhede Stadium.

Chennai Super Kings secured the top spot once again riding on Shane Watson’s sensational knock against the Sunrisers. Having lost back-to-back games, CSK made a terrific comeback in their previous encounter. With eight wins in their eleven league outings, the hosts are sitting at the top of the ladder with 16 league points. Dhoni & Co would be eyeing to avenge their previous defeat at Mumbai in the upcoming clash. CSK have a slight edge as they will look to maintain their 100 percent home record.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have been in decent form so far in this edition of the Indian Premier League. Currently, they have taken up the third spot in the league table with six wins in their ten fixtures. With only three games to go, the visitors will be determined to register another victory to secure their playoff berth. The visitors have the potential to go all the way this season and lift the title for the record fourth time. Mumbai Indians would be hoping to breach the Chennai fortress when they collide with their familiar foes.
