We are heading into the third week of the Indian Premier League where we will witness Kings XI Punjab take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mohali. The hosts will be disappointed after their previous defeat while Sunrisers Hyderabad scored their lowest inning total (96) in IPL history in their last encounter. Both the teams need to bounce back from their humiliating losses and get back to winning ways.
Kings XI Punjab still looks a weak side on paper, but their ability to surprise their opponents makes them unique. With three wins and a couple of defeats in their five outings, they have started their campaign decently well. Ashwin & Co will try to make the most of their home conditions against the Orange Army. An experienced finisher is what they lack in their batting order, apart from David Miller no else can win them close games. Kings XI Punjab will look to strengthen their batting attack when they collide with a batting powerhouse.
After a high-flying campaign so far, Sunrisers Hyderabad came down crushing in their last outing at home. SRH recorded their lowest ever inning total in the franchise history when Mumbai Indians bundled them out mere 94 runs on the board. They lost that game by 40 runs while chasing a target of 135. Having their batting woes been exploited, the visitors will make some changes in their starting lineup. Kane Williamson could come back to lead the Orange Army in the upcoming match. With amazing matchwinners in their ranks, Sunrisers Hyderabad is still ahead in the contention of the title this year.
