Kolkata Knight Riders are set to host Rajasthan Royals in the 43rd fixture of the Indian Premier League. The hosts will be desperate to get back to winning ways after losing five games on the trot while the Royals have to win this game if they want to stay alive in this tournament. Both the teams will collide with each other for the second time in this season. Kolkata Knight Riders registered a comprehensive 8-wicket victory when these two sides met last time in Jaipur.

Kolkata Knight Riders are struggling to find their feet after some scintillating performances in the IPL 2019. Having lost six consecutive league fixtures, the hosts have been in miserable form and desperately needs to get over the line. Dinesh Karthik needs to take up the responsibility and lead his team from the front in the times of adversity. With four wins in their ten outings, the Knight Riders are precariously placed at the sixth position in the points table. KKR would be hoping to land a counterpunch when they take on the Royals in Kolkata tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have also played some stunning cricket so far in this edition of the IPL, but unfortunately, the results have not gone their way. After appointing Steve Smith as their standing captain, the Royals were hoping for some turnaround. However, their previous defeat against CSK showed their inability to defend runs under pressure. The visitors are languishing at the second last spot in the points table with only three victories in their ten league fixtures. Rajasthan Royals would be eyeing to avenge their last home defeat against the Knight Riders.
