New Zealand will host Sri Lanka in the third One Day International to be held in Saxton Oval, Nelson. The series is level heading into the third match and we will witness another thrilling encounter on Tuesday.

Thisara Perera played a phenomenal inning and tried to bring the visitors back into the series. He scored 140 off 74 balls but failed to take his team over the line. We can expect a high scoring contest in the next match and gear up for another run-fest.

New Zealand have already won the series and lead the three-match series by 2-0. Their batting has been in tremendous form and they have piled 300+ runs in last two ODIs. Sri Lankan Bowling has come under the radar recently as they have been hit all over the park by the Kiwi batsmen.

Sri Lanka will play for pride and will look to improve their performance to win this game. Sri Lankan batsmen need to bring out their A game heading into the final contest. For New Zealand, it is dead rubber match and they will look to rest some senior players to give rookies a go.
